Regarding Proposed Consolidation of the
Constables Offices and the Sheriff’s Office

 

This issue has been studied at least 3 times over the years with the same result each time.

 

Each time this issue comes up there seems to be another study done.  As you can see, by the above links, this issue has been studied multiple times with the same basic result each time.  With as much weight that gets put into these studies it seems to be an easy decision for fiscally responsible individuals to come to the same conclusion.  When considering something of this magnitude it is understandable to get a second and maybe even a third opinion.  At what point do you follow the opinion given over and over?

Please read through the documents at your leisure and understand that if these recommendations would have been followed the problems we are currently facing would not be to the extent they are.
