Earl is a former Harris County Prosecutor and retired
Houston Police Lieutenant. As a
prosecutor, Earl served in county courts, juvenile courts,
and district courts as a trial lawyer, handling many
criminal and juvenile trials with excellent success.
With 35 years experience as a certified peace officer and
TCLEOSE instructor, Earl brings a tremendous amount of experience into criminal
law and is able to utilize that experience in the defense of his clients.
As a former police supervisor, he is well versed in police policy and
procedure as well as internal investigations.
Additionally, Earl’s extensive knowledge of crime scene investigations
provides a valuable resource for our members.

As
a former Harris County prosecutor, JoAnne served as a trial lawyer, chief
prosecutor, and public integrity prosecutor. Throughout her career,
JoAnne
has successfully handled and tried many felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile
matters including those involving peace officers.
Having
worked both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney in peace officer cases,
JoAnne offers a unique insight and perspective into the situations faced by our
law enforcement members. Coming
from a family of law enforcement officers and having worked with officers, she
is also familiar with the internal workings and polices of Harris County law
enforcement.
